(TLC) The Learning Center Programs include:

After School Tutoring Program: individualized instruction for elementary/junior high school students which addresses Math, Reading, and Critical Thinking skills, as well as Character Building activities for K-6th grades.

Back to School Program: School supplies (pens pencils, paper, crayons, clear/mesh backpacks, scissors, etc.) collected and distributed to children in need.

The Lab: Opened to the public on June 8, 2004 for children of TLC and adults who would want to earn college credit through courses from Valley College.  A special one-week Creative Computer Course through WVU offered to local youth (13-18 years) in summer.

MCCHEA: McDowell County Christian Home School Educators Association provides an opportunity for home schooling parents and children to pool their educational resources.
